The hosting term “Bad Neighbor” when used to reference a website that is hosted near your website that negatively impacts your search engines optimization efforts due to spamming and participating in other black hat techniques. Choose your hosting company wisely. Ranking well with a bad neighbors(s) can be nearly impossible regardless of the time or money you spend trying to get there. Linking to sites that are known spammers or practice unethical marketing can also negatively impact your rankings.
